Dream Count by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie Quotes

I think what unsettled me most about The Stranger I think what unsettled me most about The Stranger is how little Meursault performs for others.

He does not pretend to feel what he does not feel. He does not say things simply because they are expected.

And somehow, that honesty becomes disturbing to everyone around him.

We learn them. We repeat them. And over time, they begin to feel like truth.

And sometimes, we don’t question it.

Also, see a lineup of books I am reading and loving. Between Friends and Lovers has my whole heart ❤️ (review coming soon)
